Does anyone know or have an idea about why my battery red
light comes on when I increase to above 2000rpm. This began
happening before I blew a slo-blow fuse. I then found out
the wire/prong of the oil pressure indicator had been bent
when I changed the oil and it was touching the filter. I
bent it back to the right spot and didnt blow anymore
fuses, but the red light on the battery lights up which
I have been told means not enough charge. Was wondering
if I need to replace the oil pressure sending unit. Would
appreciate any input. This is a 10 year old B2400 hydrostatic tractor(kubota) with about 600 hours. Never
had any problems before. AC dynamo checked out good. All
wiring checked out good. Battery checks out(less than a
year old). Tractor is meticulously maintained.

thanks

Can a voltage regulator be tested or checked or should
I just replace it? I have pretty much checked everything
else. I see I can get one for about $60
thanks
